Susan Allen Campaigns in Charlottesville

Check out the coverage of our visit to downtown Charlottesville today. I was also able to to drive by George’s old law office building and see Historic Charlottesville where I used to give tours when George was in the General Assembly.  Twenty-five years later, he is the same man with a genuine desire to help all Virginians and the Country.

Surprised by my brother in law, Bruce Allen, when I got to the Tuckahoe Republican Women’s Club meeting.  The ladies had a great handle on the issues facing our country and are ready to spread the word about George in their communities, through Ambassadors for Allen.

George Allen for U.S. Senate Campaign Announces “Ambassadors for Allen”

Henrico, VA – The George Allen for U.S. Senate campaign announced today the launch of “Ambassadors for Allen.”  This grassroots coalition will empower hard-working, common-sense Virginians who are dedicating their time to elect George Allen to the United States Senate through activism in their local communities.  Led by six co-chairs, “Ambassadors for Allen” will be an essential part of George Allen’s positive campaign to bring Virginia voices to Washington.

“We are excited to launch what will be a new kind of grassroots effort to elect George Allen to the U.S. Senate.  As we travel the Commonwealth listening to Virginians, we hear anxiety in the voices of people who are concerned that their children will not have the same opportunities they had growing up,” said Susan Allen.  “‘Ambassadors for Allen’ will reach out to friends and neighbors in their communities to help them learn about  George’s record and his vision for the future.”

“Ambassadors for Allen” will be a powerful tool in building a strong and active grassroots campaign.  Members will receive regular updates, background on major policy issues and the opportunity to participate in conference calls with senior campaign staff and guest speakers.
“Many Virginians already have signed up to receive our emails and many of those people have offered to host events and volunteer,” Susan Allen continued. “Our election will be centered around pro-growth policies that ensure an American comeback, and our Ambassadors want to carry that message to their communities.  George and I could not be more grateful for the outpouring of support we are witnessing throughout the Commonwealth.”

The Co-Chairs of “Ambassadors for Allen” are listed below, and they and the campaign are encouraging anyone who wants to see George Allen elected to the U.S. Senate to join.  To become an official “Ambassador for Allen” and be a leading voice for our cause in your community, visit the new section of our website and sign up: www.georgeallen.com/ambassadors.
