Helped Omarh Rajah raise some funds tonight for his reelection to the Chesterfield County School Board. Chesterfield County schools are some of the best in the state. Two of our children attended them when we lived there.

Martial Arts World Tournament
It was invigorating to visit the Martial Arts World Tournament at James River High School in Midlothian this morning and it was an honor to be named an Honorary Tae Kwon Do Instructor this morning by Grand Master Y.K. Kim. With his coaching, I broke two boards and kicked through a cement block. Seeing so many people committed to the hard work it takes to reach their goals reminded me of my father and the lessons he used to teach us.

Allen Calls for fewer regulations on business
Chesterfield Observer

February2, 2011
Former Virginia Gov. and Sen. George Allen test drove his business stump speech last Friday night before 360 businesspeople, government leaders and guests at the Holiday Inn Koger Center. Allen was the featured speaker at the annual banquet of the Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce and is the likely Republican candidate for a Senate seat in the November 2012 election.
Just a few days before the chamber banquet, Allen officially announced his candidacy to reclaim the seat now held by Democrat Jim Webb. Some believe Allen contributed to his own defeat in 2006 when he used the slur “macaca” during a speaking engagement. Chesterfield typically votes Republican, and candidates depend on the Chesterfield Republican Committee to deliver a large Republican margin to offset other areas of the state that vote Democratic.
