Campaign for Working Families Chairman Gary L. Bauer Endorses George Allen for U.S. Senate
Henrico, VA – George Allen issued the following statement today on receiving the endorsement of Gary L. Bauer, Chairman of the Campaign for Working Families.
“It is invigorating to have the important, significant endorsement of Gary Bauer and the Campaign for Working Families. We need to reform Washington so that there are more job opportunities for families and a better quality of life with affordable electricity, fuel and food, as well as stable home values. Gary and I share the same view that the family is the backbone of our country and I am proud to have his articulate, principled, proven leadership and organization on our A-Team family.”

Dear Mr. Allen,
The Campaign for Working Families (CWF) exists for the express purpose of supporting candidates who will proudly promote conservative values, such as the defense of the traditional family, the sanctity of human life and the promotion of individual liberty and free enterprise.
Today, our values are under assault like never before. While the socialist experiment in Big Government is collapsing in Europe, the Obama Administration is growing the government, expanding entitlements, producing, record deficits and adding trillions of dollars to the national debt. This was not the change the American people voted for in 2008.
Now more than ever, we need men and women in Congress who understand the proper, limited role of government. We need committed conservatives who will unapologetically defend the commonsense values of the American people.
We are one year away from the most important election in generations. Our most important goal is defeating Barack Obama and electing a conservative majority to the United States Senate. That is why I am proud to endorse your candidacy!
