Their release is pasted below.
In response George Allen issued the following statement:
“It is an invigorating boost to get the significant endorsement of the Citizens United Political Victory Fund. These are leaders in advancing foundational freedoms of expression and opportunity for all people to pursue the American Dream. With their help and many other grassroot insurgents, We the People will bring Virginia’s voices and values to Washington. I pledge to fight for Virginians to reinvigorate our economy to create more job opportunities with competitive economic and productive energy reforms and rein in the runaway, over-spending federal government.”

Citizens United Political Victory Fund Endorses Governor George Allen In Virginia Senate Race
Citizens United Political Victory Fund (CUPVF), the affiliated PAC of Citizens United, announced its endorsement of Governor George Allen in the Virginia Senate contest today. CUPVF contributed $5,000 to the Allen primary campaign to start the 2012 cycle.
“Virginia will be the epicenter of the 2012 campaign,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “George Allen is the true conservative in the race to take on the eventual Democrat nominee. Governor Allen has served the Commonwealth of Virginia with a steady conservative hand, and will bring those conservative values back to the United States Senate. Picking up the Virginia Senate seat is vital for Republicans to retake the majority in the United States Senate, and George Allen is the best candidate to achieve that goal.”
CUPVF was a supporter in the 2010 primaries for the successful candidacies of Rand Paul, Pat Toomey, Marco Rubio, Kelly Ayotte, Rob Portman, Mark Kirk, and Roy Blunt. When CUPVF endorsed Paul and Rubio very early on, they were considered long shots.
CUPVF also supported Scott Brown, Ron Johnson, Dan Coats, John Boozman, Jerry Moran, John Hoeven, and Mike Lee in their victorious general election efforts. CUPVF supported only non-incumbents on the Senate side in 2010.
