Join the Energy Freedom Movement

Monday, June 1st, 2009

Tomorrow at 10:00 am ET, I will unveil an exciting, important new venture: the American Energy Freedom Center (AEFC). As Chairman, I invite you to join our energy freedom movement.

The mission of the American Energy Freedom Center is to advocate positive ideas for American jobs and economic prosperity and promote increased freedom, opportunity, and competition in the development and use of our vast energy resources.

Take a sneak peek at our website, which will be launched tomorrow.

America must be a land of opportunity for all. We must take control of our energy future. When it comes to energy resources, ours is one of the richest nations in the world. Through creativity and innovative technology, we must intelligently use our plentiful coal, as well as oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydropower and practical alternative energy sources to power our always-on, ready-to-go high tech society.

Unfortunately, our government continues to operate without a clear vision to achieve American Energy Freedom. As a result, our economic competitiveness has been undermined and our energy security is threatened. I am counting on Americans like you to help us launch a new movement of informed citizens to demand that our government unleash the abundant domestic resources — from all sources — which will stimulate our economy, create jobs and allow all Americans access to our affordable and reliable energy.

American energy policy is at a crossroads. Either we will choose a future of abundant, affordable and reliable sources of American energy, or we can choose a future of expensive and highly regulated energy. To ensure the path to a brighter energy future, Americans must understand the inextricable link between affordable energy and a prosperous society. It is also crucial that the American people learn about the many current and proposed impediments to affordable, reliable, and secure energy.

Please visit the AEFC website tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00 AM to participate in a live nationwide online webcast introducing the freedom center to the public.

We have the ideas and practical solutions that can motivate the American people: common sense conservation and innovation; use of our most abundant resource-coal, which provides half of our nation’s electricity; coal synfuel technologies; access to energy off our coasts in willing states; and advanced nuclear power are just five of the many reforms that will provide us affordable, reliable energy to power our homes and vehicles.

The American Energy Freedom Center will be a platform where people can exchange creative ideas to meet our increasing demand for energy.

I totally agree with you and have supported you since you came by our booth and hospitality sweet at Semicon West.

Let me know what I can do to become more involved and a daily advocate of this cause.

I am now retired and can go and do just about anything to help out.

You have a very noble cause and I support it. I have thughts that may help it gain momentum. There are strong movements including the Patrick Henry Caucus that could be ties to AEFC. We must go to the root of the problem which began in the late sixties.

Our children have been indoctinated, K-through college and voting age to be Flower Children. They support everything “Green” and “Animal freedom” with never a challenge.

Our voters and politicians pander to The Wildlife Federation, The Sierra Club, The EPA and a couple hundred other lesser “foundations”.

Here are some animal facts: North American Big Game animals live to the ripe old age of 10-12 years. They are healthier eating ‘new growth, grasses where cattle graze than tough old growth that becomes tender for forrest fires. The use man-made structures as land marks when in flight and prairie dogs are rats. And the wolves in Yellowstone will kill and devour a child within the next five years.

The best fishing in the gulf is around and near oil platforms.

Global warming is a scam and climate control is a creature comfort inside the cab of my one-ton dually DuraMax diesel that my wife drives to Safeway. I plan to begin a grassroot movement that will bring separate class-action fraud and damage suits against AL Gore, the EPA, The Wildlife Federation and the Sierra Club…we may not win in the courts but we will win in the court of public opinion.
