Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will officially accept the Republican vice presidential nod Wednesday night. It’s also the first time she’s spoken publicly since accepting the number two spot on the Republican ticket.
Palin’s speech comes on the heels of media reports about her 17-year-old daughter’s pregnancy and a controversy involving a state trooper. NBC29’s Crystal Cameron spoke to former Virginia senator and governor George Allen about Wednesday night’s big speech.
“She is just a great individual and I know there’s been some invasion of privacy with her family, but Americans want to care about what ideas do you have, what solutions do you have for the challenges facing us, our families, our communities and our small businesses,” stated Allen (R).
