“Those of us on Young America’s Foundation Baltic Cruise had the pleasure of listening to Prime Minister Laar, who is the George Washington of Estonia, speak in Tallin. He also forecast Russian government’s overt, violent confrontation we are seeing in Georgia and Ukraine.” -George Allen

Last week Russia furiously attacked President Bush for his proclamation on Captive Nations Week (July 20-July 26), which was established to raise awareness of countries living under communist and other oppressive regimes. Mr. Bush said that, “In the 20th century, the evils of Soviet communism and Nazi fascism were defeated and freedom spread around the world as new democracies emerged.”

The Russian Foreign Ministry claimed that treating Nazi fascism and Soviet communism as “a single evil” was an insult that “hurt the hearts” of World War II veterans in Russia and in allied countries, including the United States. “While condemning the abuse of power and unjustified severity of the Soviet regime’s internal policies, we nevertheless can neither treat indifferently attempts to equate Communism and Nazism nor agree that they were inspired by the same ideas and aims,” the ministry said in a statement.

Actually, the Bush statement is correct: There is really no big difference between Hitler’s Germany and Stalin’s Russia. When World War II began in September 1939, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were allies; indeed Stalin and Hitler launched the war together.

My father was an Army Air Corps crytographe in WW II. He was stationed in the Persian Gulf Command and was thus part of the crypto team supporting FDR at both the Tehran and Yalta conferences. A funny thing happened to this crypto team and all its epquipment and secure data on the way to Yalta. Soviet fighters met the plane at the border, forced it to land, and kept the whole plane, personnel, and equipment, prisoner for nearly two weeks. There was debate among the captors with numerous calls to Moscow, about whether or not all would permanently disappear. They were release and allowed to make it to Yalta within hours of the start of the conference. Where Roosevelt and particularly his State Department advisors finalized the arrangements to give away eastern Europe because State did not understand Stalin’s real personality and intentions. The Liberals and their toady media were well at work with their hate America first world at the height of WW II. and still at work today. Hitler killed his millions, Stalin, his tens of millions. And was given a free pass before and after the War.

The worst traitor in the United States today comes right out of the roots of both Nazi and Communist planting. And he seems to well financed to get to, George Soros. He may finally elect his very own way past Socialist President, Obama, a man whose associates under any normal application process would probably not be able to get a Security Clearance. Speaking of roots, the Major Media seems unable to trace the roots of the Nazis after WW II and their influence on the Middle East, the Muslim faith, and the modern world. It is far past time we get our heads out of the sand and ask why the Muslim faith has always allowed the destruction of those not Muslim. Two cases in point: Oil was not important and Israel was not a state when the Muslim faith insisted on their right to piracy in the Mediterranean for centuries, nor when the Armenian Christians were slaughtered from 1917 to 1919.
