HI Senator,
Rush Limbaugh is describing how you hemmed and hawed trying to find something positive to say about McCain’s Global Warming Speech. He further explained that if you did not, you would be shunned by party leaders.
The party’s an ineffective mess. It’s clear we need a new one because conservatives aren’t going to displace the RINO grip. Please tell me why it’s apparently preferable to continue to lose, knowing there’s no winning, than it is to make a clean break, take our conservatism to a public waiting to hear it, and win with a new party? I simply do not understand the reticence. Why not a Grand New Party instead of this effete club for social climbers? Why not a strong party where the people we send to Washington are, in effect, it’s instruments rather than it’s ideologues and achieving conservative policy is a party — not individual — goal? What are we waiting for? Do we need to become France, Italy or the UK before we act?
