The GOP presidential race is starting to heat up. Wednesday night, CNN is hosting the YouTube debate for the Republican candidates in St. Petersburg, Florida.  With the Iowa Caucus one month away and an unconventional debate format, one can expect some fireworks.  In recent weeks, it appears that the presidential candidates have started to aggressively highlight their views on key issues important to voters.

This is expected to continue in Wednesday’s debate.  Iraq, illegal immigration, taxes, abortion, gun rights, energy independence, health care, terrorism, turmoil in the Middle East—voters will rightly expect that these issues are properly addressed by the candidates. The most heated attacks, however, will likely come on the most contentious matters for Republicans: taxes, immigration, gun rights and social issues.
